New Pool House and Leisure Building, Chippenham

TC Consult has been appointed to manage the construction costs of a pool house and leisure building in the South West of England for a private developer.

The architecturally led project comprises the pool, spa, sauna, steam room, gymnasium, TV room, changing room and kitchen, all within a glass and timber envelope. The pool itself looks out on to a circular lawned garden surrounded by natural stone walls, soft landscaping and paths.

TC Consult provided specific cost research in relation to the natural slate flooring sourced from a UK quarry.

The project commenced in July 2007 and is due for completion in September 2008 at a cost of approximately £1.2m
